Tech Mahindra mandates AI, Web 3 skilling for top execs

Tech Mahindra has mandated that its senior executives, including CXOs, must skill themselves in technologies such as 5G, generative AI and Web 3. The move is part of a review mechanism and a pre-condition for moving up the corporate ladder. Non-performing executives will be trained but growth opportunities will be limited. Tech Mahindra has been using AI for productivity enhancement in its legal and HR departments for a couple of years. The company uses an on-demand AI tool to identify skill levels, research and interest areas, based on which executives are trained.
