Pro-Palestine protesters disrupt tech conference in New York City

“I refuse to build technology that powers genocide.”

A Pro-Palestine Google Cloud engineer disrupted Barak Regev, Google Israel managing director During a tech conference held in New York City.

The worker protested Project Nimbus, a contract to sell technology that could be used to survey and harm Palestinians to the Israeli military and government.

Soon after, another protester disrupted Regev by saying, “Google is complicit in Israeli genocide.”
